Summary
The Senior Relationship Manager role is to develop new strategic key account relationship and to cross-sell and expand penetration of Allstate products into existing relationships. Client relationship lead for wholesale and affinity partners, driving growth and partner profitability across multiple clients and products. Approx. revenue responsibility of $15MM
Responsibilities
* Cross sell products and expand market penetration into existing accounts in the financial institutions, financial planners, broker dealers, warehouse channels including negotiation of terms of agreement in order to increase market share. * Identify business/product/program needs of existing clients and create custom tailored product programs to meet those needs, including proprietary or private label custom programs as appropriate. * Formulate a product / program strategy to meet the requirements * Work with Actuaries, Marketing, Operations and Implementation staff to develop new products to meet prospective and client needs * Align and/or coordinate internal and external company strategies with the National Sales Management team in order to assure company objectives are met. * Clarify and communicate prospective client wholesaling, internal sales support and operating requirements * Represent the company at trade association and other industry and/or client meetings in order to promote product and network with key personnel. * Establish strong relationships all essential internal operating departments that may be involved in developing programs such Marketing, and Legal in order to meet client needs, and accomplish goals through other team members * Gain an understand procedures and policies within each operating groups * Gain an understanding or technology perimeters * Proactively build relationship with key individuals and gain an understanding of their processes and policies * Partner contact within PMG communicating with major partner to move initiatives forward. Uses business development expertise to independently develop and implement significant product, marketing and relationship expansion to meet/exceed partner revenue. Possesses experience and expertise in making independent strategic decisions regarding partner management and growth. * Is primary partner advocate. High profile visibility to PMG and senior client management frequently interfacing with the Presidents of partner accounts. * Manage partners P&L’s. Ensure partner and PMG financial objectives are met/exceeded by securing additional opportunities for marketing, introducing new products, increasing channels of distribution and managing expenses. * Drive financial forecasts and planning through development of marketing strategy and plans and financial models. Work cross functionally to execute plans on time and within budget * Ensure partner contract compliance and manage contract renegotiations. Secure marketing commitment according to forecast. Mange growth profitability. * Understand partner goals/objectives and translate them into actionable solutions to drive profitability and partner/customer satisfaction. * Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Marketing Analytics to develop customized marketing programs and based on partners’ goals.
