Summary
AGCO is currently seeking a Supply Chain Inventory Analyst to join our AGCO Parts Integration (API) and Retail Inventory Management (RIM) team in Batavia, IL. The Supply Chain Inventory Analyst will play a key part in planning, managing, and maintaining renewal for all specified line of dealer accounts, as well as responsible for monitoring and adjusting variables to meet the needs of the individual dealer stores. Additionally, the Supply Chain Inventory Analyst will effectively manage the placement and/or replenishment of a designated product category to maintain an in-stock standard while achieving planned turnover and growth.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which support dealer planning and operations - Work independently with end-users and business partners to assess the business requirements, match these requirements to objectives, and guide them to the applicable processes and products including developing plans, specifications, and enhancements that will achieve the business goals - Utilize the appropriate tools and levers to optimize in-stock and minimize unproductive inventories - Maintain collaborative partnership with AGCO dealers, and proactively communicate key strategies and initiatives to dealer partners - Analyze sales and stock levels to ensure that reorder recommendations made by the replenishment system reflect the sales trend, presentations standards, and turnover goals - Manage and manipulate data in SQL, Excel, and Access - Design, build, and maintain data collection repositories supporting inventory recommendations - Show initiative, drive, and most importantly, able to maintain focus on the big picture while also demonstrating a commitment to the details - Capable of handling challenging IT/data system file manipulation and integration - Prioritize and determine feasibility of alternative solutions to current supply chain processes - Monitor key performance indicators (KPI), and analyze performance data, to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiative - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual summaries of results, accomplishments, and future plans
Ideal Candidate
- 1-10 years of experience working in inventory management and supply chain, preferably as an Inventory Analyst - 1-10 years of experience working with an inventory management system (IMS) - Microsoft Excel proficiency, specifically the ability to perform VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, formulas, and charts **Preferred Qualifications of the Supply Chain Inventory Analyst:** - VBA experience, including the ability to run basic macros in Microsoft Excel, or Microsoft Access experience, specifically knowledgeable in creating queries and tables as well as manipulating data - Exposed to the concept of Continuous Improvement methodologies - 1-10 years of experience using Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations - 1-10 years of experience creating queries and writing within SQL **Education of the Supply Chain Inventory Analyst:** - Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, Finance, or Operations - CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) certified
