Responsibilities
* Support day to day manufacturing engineering activities on the shop floor including small process improvement projects, maintaining quality, and driving efficiency. 2. Utilize manufacturing engineering systems to monitor and improve processes including quality and part tracking applications. 3. Monitor continuous improvement cards/board to determine if projects and recommendations should be prioritized or reevaluated. 4. Partner closely with shop floor personnel to improve processes and increase output. 5. Ownership over real-time challenges on the shop floor, finding solutions, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure maximum efficiency in production.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering field (Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering) OR 2+ years of professional experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in lieu of degree 2. Experience working with manufacturing engineering systems such as part tracking, quality tracking, output databases, and ability to pick up new systems/applications quickly. 3. Experience creating process flow and standard work documentation within a manufacturing environment. 4. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. 5. Ability to work with and lead manufacturing personnel on shop floor.
