Summary
Major media companies such as NBC, Comcast, ESPN, Fox, Turner, HBO and many others rely on Adobe Primetime to reach, engage and monetize their users.Adobe Primetime is the established leader in helping media companies transition the next generation of TV experiences and business models. The Group Product Manager, Adobe Primetime will lead the initiative on solving for fragmentation on digital platforms (iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV, chromecast, game consoles, desktop, embedded platforms, smart TVs), delivering high quality video experiences and maximizing end user engagement. The Group Product Manager will be responsible for collaborating with the engineering team to define and execute the strategy and development for Adobe Primetime TVSDKs, content protection and content prep technologies.The Group Product Manager serves as a product champion by deeply understanding market landscape and customer requirements and then evangelizes these requirements and objectives with multiple product teams across Adobe. This role is highly strategic and technical in nature.
Responsibilities
* Define and lead product strategy Adobe Primetime TVSDKs. * Identify target markets and optimal product features based on customer needs, market trends and business case analysis. * Must have strong leadership skills and sense of responsibility in driving product related programs and projects. * Manage cross-functional projects by providing project leadership and daily management throughout the project from inception to delivery. * Proactively identify, prioritize and drive resolution to project issues. * Ensure product that is developed maps to customer and market requirements.
Ideal Candidate
* Self-starter with proven ability to successfully kick-start new initiatives and to drive complex issues through analysis and resolution. * Excellent written and communication skills and equally able to talk to engineers, senior executives, and customers. * Strong analytic skills and ability to evaluate alternatives and make compelling recommendations based on solid business case analysis. * Able to easily transition between high level strategy to day-to-day implementation. * Results driven, attention to detail and follow-through, and ability to work effectively at all levels within the organization and with partners. * Able to work equally effectively with customers and peers to drive direction on product requirements and decisions. * BA/BS with minimum of 7 years product management or equivalent experience; MBA strongly preferred. * Locale United States/San Francisco or San Jose.
