The Adirondack Museum offers 65,000 square feet of exciting exhibitions housed in twenty-two modern and historic buildings. Interactive, hands-on activities abound, making the stories of the Adirondacks and its people highly engaging for children as well as adults. Services at the Adirondack Museum include the Lake View Café, open 11am to 4pm daily, overlooking pristine Blue Mountain Lake; free Wi-Fi; clear cell-phone reception; child strollers; wheelchairs, walkers, and scooters; tourist information; bicycle rack; ATM; RV parking; and more. Picnic areas are scattered throughout the grounds. Be sure to visit the Museum Store in the Visitor Center for a variety of Adirondack related gifts, many made locally and in the U.S.
