Data Engineer

The company leverages a footprint of 1 trillion page views yearly to power their unique offering.

We are looking for people with experience with content classification, recommendation, and abuse detection systems. Experience with machine learning and statistical programming is desired. This person must be capable of making his or her own ideas a reality with minimal engineering support. You will be working with top notch engineers tackling real world, big data problems in online advertising. * Help define, design, and build projects that leverage our data * Develop algorithms that can scale to very large data sets * Design and develop systems for content classification, clustering and content recommendation * Determine and implement mechanisms to improve our data quality

* MS or PhD in CS/Machine Learning/Math/ or Statistics * 5+ years of experience * Expert-level Java skills and design experience, including significant knowledge of core libraries and common design patterns * Experience with open source data processing frameworks is a plus * Experience with Amazon EC2, Hadoop, Nutch, and Mahout is a plus
