Summary
The ActionLink District Manager is responsible for the execution of all sales strategies within a specified territory within a region. The District Manager is responsible for recruiting, hiring and scheduling of the sales representatives in their respective district. Also responsible to ensure all direct reports are thoroughly trained in all aspects of their specific program initiatives. The District Manager reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager and collaborates with Field leadership and Client leadership to ensure a standard of excellence in all field execution duties. Is also responsible for analyzing business results in their district and recommending and implementing process improvements. This person is responsible for delivering Key Performance Indicators within their district. The District Manager is responsible for leading and developing a team of representatives in the core values of ActionLink: Passion – Respect – Humility – Collaboration – Excellence.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for the execution of all ActionLink project strategies * Communicate all ActionLink strategies to the sales representatives and store teams * Responsible for minimum compliance standards on an ongoing basis * Achieve all Key Performance Indicators including but not limited to: * Sell-thru performance targets * In-store market share targets * Targeted recommendation rate * Support excellence in merchandising quality * Responsible for maintaining relationships with ActionLink Sales Representatives and retail store leadership teams * Recruit, hire and schedule all Sales Representatives for their district/territory * Responsible for in-field teaching, training and coaching their team members * Responsible for the performance management of all Representatives including rewards, recognition and accountability * Responsible for reporting in-field findings and making recommendations to the Regional Managers around process improvements made within the Region * Monitor and review all field call reports * Adhere to the guidelines of the ActionLink Travel & Expense Policy
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent, 2 years of college preferred * Maintain a strong knowledge of retail business, execution and products * Minimum of two years related experience preferred * Experience working in retail stores in a multi-unit capacity preferred * Experience leading a field management team preferred * Ability to build and foster business relationships at multiple levels * Demonstrated strength in teaching/coaching * Ability to performance manage a team * Strong ability to positively influence others * Ability to build, inspire, and motivate a team * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Proven time management and organizational skills * Ability to work on weekends and have a flexible schedule * Must be professional and presentable
