Summary
The Senior Information Technology (IT) Auditor is responsible for conducting IT audits of critical processes, systems and infrastructure throughout AbbVie's international and domestic organizations and formulating recommendations for improvement in operating performance and controls. Position requires approximately 25% travel. After 2 years within the Corporate Audit staff, auditors can move to other areas within the company.
Responsibilities
* Plan and execute IT audits throughout AbbVie's international and domestic organizations. * Coordinate execution of audits with other audit teams (e.g. Finance, Sales and Marketing Compliance, Quality). * Coordinate efforts with internal / external audit as appropriate. * Prepare and present audit findings to business stakeholders. * Identify and communicate risk & control themes. * Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives within the Internal Audit team.

**Key attributes of a successful auditor include:** * Analytical skills, including data analytics. * Excellent communication skills, oral and writing. * Teamwork, collaboration. * Problem identification as well as problem solving. * Negotiation skills. * Continuous learning and continuous improvement mindset. * Project and time management. **Basic:** * Bachelor’s degree and minimum three years of work experience obtained with a public accounting firm or equivalent internal audit experience with a global company. * Experience planning and executing IT audits. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Approximately 25% travel to AbbVie's International and Domestic locations. * Experience in at least one of the following three areas required: * Execution of Information Systems audits, including Data Privacy, Data Security or Network Security. * Implementation of large-scale ERP packages, including SAP, Oracle and other similar systems. * Technical experience with SAP (e.g. Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, FI/CO) and/or various other financial and business critical applications preferred. **Preferred:** * Manufacturing and/or international business experience desirable. * Foreign language skills and/or professional certification (eg.CISA, MBA) are a plus. * Continuous improvement mindset.
