Quality Engineer

The position is Quality Engineer but we will look at Process Engineers who have experience in quality or a desire to get into that area. Looking for 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing facility. Automotive preferred or a background in plastics, coatings, films, web handling, extrusion or lamination.

* A 4 year engineering degree, ideally in Industrial, Manufacturing, Textile or Material Science. * 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, automotive preferred or a background in plastics, coatings, films, web handling, extrusion or lamination. * Some experience in APQP on new products in the automotive industry. * Knowledge of ISO9001:2000 / TS16949. * Knowledge of ISO9001:2000 and TS16949 auditing process. * Someone who has the ability to establish and maintain strong customer relations and ensure customer satisfaction. * Someone who can understand customer expectations and coordinate the internal effort to meet those expectations. * Someone to maintain control plans, PFMEAs inspection and gage instructions and other assigned quality plan documentation. * Someone who can get to the root cause of issues and get them resolved quickly. * Ability to travel 25%.
