Summary
The goal of a Business Development Representative is to take a lead from a marketing campaign, qualify the lead through opportunity discovery and follow through until demo request or free trial is generated.
Responsibilities
* Initiate contact with prospects through outbound efforts, creating interest and positioning of the PowerPost SaaS tool. * Use of strong selling and influencing skills to set up qualified appointments. * Play a vital role in sales pipeline growth through generation of qualified sales opportunities. * Consistent use of sales approach and techniques based on established sales system. * Log, track and maintain all activities and contact records within the CRM software. * Attend sales meetings, vendor training, local trade shows to keep current with technology.
Ideal Candidate
* Metrics driven and willing/able to sustain a high level of activity in order to achieve assigned goals. * Tech savvy and a fast learner with the ability to multitask. * Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization. * Strong in-person, phone and written customer communication skills. * Understanding of workflow systems and their application to customer business process improvement. * Ability to manage time effectively, work independently and be self-motivated prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals. * 1-2 years of Inside Sales experience is ideal * SaaS background is a plus * Bachelor’s Degree preferred
