Medical Certified IR Coder

We are currently seeking an experienced Certified IR Coder to join our team of medical billing professionals in the Overland Park, KS area.

As a Certified IR Coder with Zotec, you will be responsible for coding complex IR coding reports, resolving coding issues, responding to coding related denials and take steps to correct claims, submitting appeals, and investigating and resolving reports submitted for coding investigations.

• Current Certification – AHIMA, AAPC or RCCB
• 2+ years’ experience coding complex IR procedures
• Completed ICD10 Certification/Training, preferred
• Ability to work on internet based coding programs
• Thorough knowledge of medical office operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Work, outlook and Excel
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Capable of prioritizing work flow and able to ensure deadlines are met
• High school diploma or equivalent
