Responsibilities
As a Citrix Engineer / Architect, you will participate in diverse and challenging projects. The job responsibilities will vary based on the project scope and deliverables. Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications:** * Ability to apply knowledge of Citrix XenDesktop and related systems to evaluate and maintain the thin-client technical environment. * Ability to work closely with the Platform team leads and other team members, proactively investigates all aspects of the environment such that resolutions minimize downtime to the organization and are permanent solutions. **Skills and Requirements:** * A minimum of 2-years of related Citrix design and support, 5-years IT experience as part of a mid to large organization required. * Working within the DataCenter team with responsibility for providing support of the Citrix environment. * Provide expertise and support for VMWare, Citrix XenDesktop 7.1, including the NetScaler hardware infrastructure. * Evaluate, publish, test and document application deployment strategies in Citrix. * Script and develop innovative tools to solve operational issues. * Ongoing evaluation and analysis of current Citrix infrastructure to provide optimum performance. Experience with Load testing tools preferred. * Test, plan, suggest and implement performance optimizations methodologies to the current Citrix XenDesktop 7.1 environments as required. * Perform support & administrative tasks pertaining to the end user environment, Applications, Roaming Profiles, AD policies, and Citrix policies as required. * Proactively monitor the health and performance of the VMWare and Citrix environment, along with their dependencies in order to maintain optimal performance. * Perform various special projects within the Information Technology team as assigned. * Participate in the 24x7 on call rotation. * Perform other duties as assigned. **Education:** * A Bachelors in a technical discipline is preferred accompanied with designated certifications. * Candidates should have a desire to gain technical skills through advanced certifications (MCSE / CCE-AD / CCP-AD) or other similar achievements.
