Psychiatrist (Mental Health Lead)

Zoom+ is seeking an exceptional Psychiatrist (MD, DO) to lead our Mental Health practice and deliver great care at modern, state-of-the-art, neighborhood clinics. ZOOM+ is an integrated delivery system and insurance company built from the ground up to care for millennials. Mental health care at ZOOM+ consists of out-patient mental health care delivered in our state-of-the art clinics and via our own unique remote care (video visits, phone, and chat). You are backed up by our support team, which consists of care management and 24/7 phone support, and our own primary care, specialists, and ER doctors on-demand at our clinics.

Your responsibilities include developing the clinical team, growing the practice, ensuring the quality of care meets the highest evidence-based standards, participating in management activities as a member of the clinical leadership team, supervising PAs, NPs and other providers, personally caring for patients at ZOOM and participating in quality and utilization management reviews for patients who receive care outside of ZOOM. **Never stop learning** The Mental Health Lead is a member of the Medical Leadership Team that develops best practice guidelines and hosts monthly Zoom University educational sessions. **Board certified and experienced in the following:** * Psychiatric assessment and consultation, evidence based psychiatric treatments and medication management services, office-based counselling * experience with office-based psychotherapy is a plus * Experience with children is a plus * Experience mentoring and teaching and leading both mental health providers and primary care providers is a plus A successful Zoom+ Psychiatrist Practice Leader has outstanding clinical skills, loves personally delivering care, loves to teach and mentor, and isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo. You will serve as an example of a compassionate provider and leader who is an expert in your field. Your team will trust you implicitly because you have a rock solid medical background and are always up to date on best evidence-based practices.
