Summary

The Vertical Account Manager reports to the Vice President and Director-Retail & Hospitality for the Southern Area of the United States. This position will build and manage relationships and lead sales activity with customers that are of high strategic importance to Zebra Technologies, and for bringing in significant business by increasing account share and account penetration. This position is responsible for ensuring that the full Zebra portfolio is positioned and has in-depth knowledge of each assigned customer on a worldwide basis.

Responsibilities
  • Plans and mobilizes internal resources. Leverages Zebra's relationship with VAR's, alliances and ISV's to drive account.
  • Leverage the broadest partner, ISV and alliance ecosystem to ensure Zebra is designed in as part of the overall solution.
  • Actively engage specific end-user accounts with the intent to implement plans that identify, develop, and enhance sales opportunities and ultimately drive incremental revenue for Zebra.
  • Develop annual account plan which includes development of revenue generation, relationship development and strategic understanding strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional and at times cross-regional teams to develop, deploy and implement both tactical and strategic plans to support the overall account plan.
  • Serve as the liaison between Zebra and the account and be the overall account advocate.
  • Obtain and provide “voice of the customer feedback” and competitive intelligence to management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with accounts that are of high strategic importance to Zebra. Consistently deliver high levels of customer service.
Ideal Candidate
  • 5-7 years of successful retail and hospitality related experience.
  • Team player, with a collaborative mindset, leadership through influence of resources.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Flexible – can deal with changing priorities.
  • Experience developing and executing an account plan, achieving quarterly and annual sales and marketing goals.
  • Can assess customer needs to identify sales opportunities.
  • Experience growing a strong pipeline of external revenue aligned to strategic growth segments.
  • Experience working across multiple groups/businesses to seal complex deals with strategic partners.
