Summary
The position will be responsible for specifying and purchasing of tooling, printing plates, print cylinders, aniloxes and materials associated with production equipment. Will also be responsible for reviewing and correcting any errors or issues with job packets and completing the job in Radius. The position will fill the role of interfacing with documentation, sales, estimators and production to ensure ECO's are implemented in a timely manner as well as serve as resource for determining capabilities and production standards for new and existing part numbers.
Responsibilities
* Work with documentation, sales, and planning to ensure die specification is accurate * Enter die specification into Radius and purchase die from approved suppliers * Verify graphics for print jobs and purchase printing plates from approved suppliers * Purchase and manage inventory of print cyinders, aniloxes, tint cylinders and other printing related materials * Interface with suppliers to find ways to reduce costs and improve quality of parts/components * Purchase and maintain miscellaneous production materials * Review and resolve errors or issues with production completed production jobs * Correct RM and labor data errors for production jobs as needed * Complete and close production jobs in Radius * Interfaces with sales, documentation and estimators on capability and production standards for equipment * Reviews and implement ECO for existing part numbers * Other assigned duties
Ideal Candidate
* Must be proficient with all MS Office applications * Must be able to learn and utilize multiple computer applications quickly * Ability to learn and apply technical information * Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently * Must be able to effectively communicate in writing and verbally in English * Detail oriented; able to handle many data entry without errors * Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment * Experience with MRP and ERP applications Preferred * Experience in label manufacturing industry preferred * Experience in purchasing or planning role preferred * High School Diploma required * Associate or higher degree preferred
