Summary
This role will provide an intern with a wide variety of software product management responsibilities. Those responsibilities will include strategic and tactical initiatives that give the intern exposure into the work of a product manager. This position will also interact with various parts of the business (including finance, legal, marketing, engineering, operations, sales, channel, and management) and will assist in driving initiatives that refine product strategy and roadmap. In addition this position will become very familiar with and involved in software product management responsibilities - which includes building business cases, reviewing pricing strategies, setting requirements for new/existing products, working with marketing on product launch and readiness, participating in legal reviews, and meeting with customers and partners.
Responsibilities
* Research and refine business cases * Evaluate competitive offerings * Assist in building marketing content and training material for the sales teams and customers. * Work with channel leadership to identify potential customers for case studies * Align with internal stakeholders on release schedules and cadence * Identify new marketing and channel initiatives to gain additional mindshare * Identify ways to enhance software products and user experience * Evaluate new growth opportunities * Drive internal collaboration and alignment on product requirements
Ideal Candidate
* Currently studying Business (Entrepreneurship, Finance, Accounting, or Marketing preferable) * MBA student preferable, but not required * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal * Proficient in Microsoft Office (PPT, Excel, Word) * Organized, with an ability to prioritize important tasks * Willing to tackle challenging tasks * Interested in learning how products are developed and taken to market (idea to sales) * Positive attitude * Team player
