Member Service Representative (Teller)

• Must possess the ability to travel between multiple offices
• Regular onsite attendance
• Respond to members, requests, problems, and complaints or direct them to the proper person for specific information and assistance
• Obtain and submit member information for loan applications and disburse loan funds
• Promote and cross sell Credit Union products and services based on member's needs
• Balancing and posting of the ATM
• Maintain knowledge of Zeal Credit Union policies and procedures
• Consistently meet or exceed established sales goals
• Perform special item functions such as selling money orders, official checks, traveler's cheques, and stamps
• Process member transactions, requests, and maintenance

Additional Functions

• Balance teller drawer
• Maintain member confidentiality
• Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned

• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Previous cash handling experience (1 year)
• 1 year customer service
• Teamwork
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Personal interaction
• Basic knowledge of debits, credits, understanding of standard calculations using a 10 key calculator

Preferred:

• Previous sales experience
• Previous financial institution experience
