The Sales Executive is responsible for the sales of the full suite of products and services to new prospects in a territory. S/he will do this by introducing new potential customers to the power of the YP brand through careful assessment of customer needs and creation of a customized digital and print marketing plan designed to assist customers in the growth of their business.
- Focuses on identifying opportunities, qualifying new prospects, and closing new sales through the assessment of customer needs and creation of solutions.
- Coordinates with Field Relationship Managers to hand over tenured accounts for ongoing retention, service and expansion.
- Use all sales platforms consistently and leverages common sales process to ensure accurate pipeline and forecasts.
- Operating within YP's cultural "voice" principles and the highest ethical standards. Ensure honest behavior and long term oriented
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent-ideally in a sales or digital technology focused program.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience with at least one year of heavy face to face cold calling experience.
- Experience working in a consultative manner with customers in supporting the growth of their businesses through marketing, technology or advertising.
- Strong relationship development skills.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Strong digital savvy- experience with digital media, including social media marketing, SEO/SEM and mobile.
- Experience with MS Office and CRM Tools, ideally Salesforce.
