Responsibilities

- This is a client-facing and production role that, along with exceptional design capabilities, requires clear and effective client communication.
- Learn the site architecture of the Recruiting Marketing Platform
- Lead client design consultations, deliver compelling presentations for clients when driving design direction
- Design websites that reflect an effective user experience and support the client's strategic recruiting goals.
- Ensure sites adhere to established brand requirements including style-guides, layout, imaging, and customization.
- Provide implementation recommendations that are both creatively diverse and sustainable for future maintenance.
- Provide Front End recommendations on interaction and visual design for mobile, tablet, and desktop.
- Help identify and implement industry-specific web design best practices.
- Optimize assets and graphics to hand-off to web developers.
- Respond to project requests in a timely and proficient manner.
- Build rapport and credibility with internal team, partners, and clients.

Ideal Candidate

- 2-5 years demonstrated knowledge and experience in Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- Demonstrated knowledge of UI design fundamentals and creative principles.
- Understanding of responsive web design, grid systems, layout, asset production, and typography.
- Excellent organizational ability with close attention to detail.
- A basic understanding of and experience with CSS and XHTML
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas effectively between technical and non-technical audiences.
- Associate or Bachelor Degree in Art, Graphic Design, Web Design, or related field
- A solid portfolio of web design projects
- Thorough understanding of web usability and responsive design best practices
- Positive and proactive work ethic, "can-do" attitude with a demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects, and switch gears as needed.
- Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills.
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas effectively between technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to be both a collaborative team player as well as strong, reliable self-starter and individual contributor
