• Design with minimal oversight, execute and analyze data from experiments
• Create presentations on data for review and discussion at technical meetings
• Make sound scientific conclusions
• Prepare complex reagents
• Troubleshoot experiments, equipment and techniques to understand root cause of failures and unexpected data
• Prepare, execute and document results and deviations from verification and validation protocols
• Test automated assay protocols and verify performance
• Write and train others to standard operating procedures

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• BSc / MSC in biology, biochemistry , molecular biology or related field
• 1-2 years of biotechnology industry experience
• Proven ability to perform as part of a fast pace, high performing team
• Able to multi task and self-start
• Working knowledge of DNA hybridization and detection techniques
• Ability to execute of standard molecular biology and chemical analysis tools independently, i.e. PCR, gel electrophoresis, UV-VIS
• Understanding of liquid handling robots theory and practical application
• Background in fluorescence imaging
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Knowledge of GLP
