PHP Developer (Symfony framework) needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Carlsbad, CA.

Top Skills You Should Possess:

• PHP development and Symfony framework skills.
• Work closely with the Engineering, Design and Production teams to develop and support both the front-facing public website and the CMS driving that website.
• Provide technical documentation and QA support

• Application development and maintenance in PHP
• Full testing of code produced and complete de-bugging prior to launch
• Post launch analysis including documentation

• 5-10 years experience developing complex web applications in PHP
• Extensive experience with the Symfony framework highly desired
• Advanced skill coding with HTML/CSS + JavaScript
• Experience working with JSON data a must
• Highly skilled at front-end engineering using Object-Oriented JavaScript and frameworks (e.g. jQuery, Angular, Backbone)
• Demonstrated success in building responsive websites
• Experience with video data from MPX/thePlatform a plus
• Provide accurate level of effort for projects, including incremental time-lines for work completion
• Comfortable both working within an existing code base and writing code from scratch
• Detail and quality obsessed
• Ability to work in a small, dynamic programming team with numerous responsibilities
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work with remote teams
• Must be solutions-oriented and someone who is not afraid to bring ideas to the table
