Summary
As a full stack engineer in our front end guild, you will work with our application development teams implementing best practices to build user facing applications. You'll join a strong, business focused, agile software development organization where you can concentrate on using your experience to build our customer’s success by helping us create an end-to-end advertising platform that enables local business to get new business from the internet and track and measure the return on investment. Our front end tech stack is based on Node.js, Angular, Play, and Scala, and we build the full breadth of software required to make Yodle go. Examples of our diverse systems include a fully customizable website renderer, an automated search advertising campaign builder, and a continuous delivery system built on top of Marathon, Mesos and Docker. We're rearchitecting our whole front end stack as continuously deployed and purpose built UI applications deployed in Docker. As we continue, you'll help us solve the challenges surrounding the development of a scalable architecture to support a large engineering team delivering software to tens of thousands of businesses across the country.
Responsibilities
* Assist development teams in building front-end applications by consulting, design reviews, code reviews, and developing as part of the team * Build and improve core front-end application architecture, on both the server side and client side * Deliver technical trainings to the development organization about best practices for building and growing applications
Ideal Candidate
* Excellent coding and design skills * You enjoy writing software and take pride in what you build * Fluent Java and JavaScript programming skills * Experience using some of the latest web technologies * BA/BS or above from a Computer Science program * 2+ years of experience * Experience with web development, and comfort developing applications for end users
