Billing Specialist

Yext is seeking a detail oriented Billing Specialist to join our growing Finance Team. Working closely with both Finance and our Sales team, this role will be responsible for processing invoices and developing billing best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

* Responsible for billing customer contracts that are setup in the billing system, ensuring invoices are correct and in line with contracts and underlying system details * Review and process monthly billings * Measure performance and report metrics to various teams around the company * Work closely with the finance team to help improve overall processes, driving efficiency and improvement/monitoring of internal controls * Assist in improving processes and policies in support of organizational goals * Work closely with our Collections team to resolve past due accounts or billing disputes * Manage credit card processing

* BA/BS in Accounting, or equivalent work experience * Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets * Excellent data entry skills * Excellent communications skills both written and oral * Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work on multiple tasks at once * Ability to properly prioritize * Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines * Ability to work independently or as a team member **Preferred Requirements** * Knowledge of Netsuite and/or Zuora
