Summary
The Digital Marketing Coordinator will work to build the Year Up brand by supporting digital marketing, with a focus in multi-channel digital marketing and lead generation. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Coordinator will build and maintain digital communications for all Year Up stakeholders. The core responsibilities of the role will be assisting with the implementation and quality assurance of digital communications, including landing pages, forms, email, and text. The Coordinator position offers the opportunity to support with lead generation efforts, including digital advertising and web SEO across platforms. Additional responsibilities include oversight of routine website maintenance and staff support across digital systems. To be successful in this role, you'll characterize yourself as a self-starter with demonstrated interest and experience in multi-channel digital marketing. You'll bring a strong attention to detail, problem solving abilities, and a proven passion for user experience. You'll consider yourself a strong communicator and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also bring a commitment to advancing social justice and be prepared to keep Year Up's mission as the central driver of their work.
Responsibilities
**Digital Marketing Role** * Support Digital Marketing team in managing digital advertising campaigns, including Google Adwords * Create, maintain and test automated communications templates in Marketing Automation system, including email and text message templates * Support Marketing Automation system implementation through building digital content and testing * Manage regular updates to www.yearup.org and other digital platforms in Wordpress * Manage SEO for www.yearup.org and other digital platforms * Provide trainings and staff support for digital marketing systems **National Team Member** * Serve as a mentor/tutor for a small number of current students, availability permitting * Participate in staff meetings and trainings
Ideal Candidate
* 1-2 years’ work experience, preferably with a marketing focus * Demonstrated interest and experience in multi-channel digital content creation (web, email, text) * Exposure to and strong interest in lead generation (digital advertising, SEO) * Experience with email marketing and/or marketing automations systems preferred * Passion for quality user experience architecture in digital and other channels * Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills * Strong communication skills, especially over email * Ability to manage many competing priorities and communicate effectively when priorities shift * Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team * Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Wordpress, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office a plus * Understanding of brand consistency across a variety of media * Aptitude for and interest in collaborating with team to develop new marketing campaigns and opportunities for customer engagement * A passion for working with urban young adults, an unshakable belief in their potential and a strong commitment to the mission of Year Up * Understanding of the Opportunity Divide and its drivers * Commitment to diversity and inclusion
