SQL DEVELOPER

It would be an oversimplification to say that back in 2005 we saw a future need in the marketplace for high-tech consulting services and then simply set out to fill it. In truth, the need was already there, and while existing players were filling it, they weren’t adequately meeting the needs of both employers and employees. For today’s thriving tech businesses, they need ongoing help finding and hiring people with the right skills. But more than that, they require broader, programmatic support.

Responsible for design, development and management of high quality, efficient and effective solutions in Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL, Integration Services and related tools to support a number of large-scale data migration projects.

* Write and debug SQL (stored procedures, triggers, etc.) * Automate date analysis, extraction and report generation tasks * Develop ETL Jobs * Compile data to meet business requests * Use tools such as SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and Visual Studio * Database performance tuning and optimization. * Use Execution Plans and Database Engine Tuning Advisor to improve query performance

* 5 years SQL Server development experience (writing and optimizing T-SQL statements/scripts) * 3 years SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) & SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) experience * All experience must have been gained within the last 10 years. * Meet timelines and target dates for implementation, installation, upgrades and other assigned duties within reasonable timeframes as directed by management. * Work in an open work environment. * Work quickly and accurately under pressure. * Communicate in a professional, positive courteous manner at all times with all levels of customers, clients, vendors, visitors and employees. * Apply problem-solving techniques. * Work independently and/or cooperatively and effectively in a team environment. * Demonstrate a positive outlook. * Be self-motivated with ability to establish priorities and effectively manage time to complete multiple tasks within specified timeframes. * Be organized and detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
