PROJECT MANAGER- OTA OR GDS

It would be an oversimplification to say that back in 2005 we saw a future need in the marketplace for high-tech consulting services and then simply set out to fill it. In truth, the need was already there, and while existing players were filling it, they weren’t adequately meeting the needs of both employers and employees. For today’s thriving tech businesses, they need ongoing help finding and hiring people with the right skills. But more than that, they require broader, programmatic support.

Candidatse will need OTA (Online Travel Agents) &/or GDS (Global Distribution System) experience. (Expedia or a Travel Partner Service would be great)!

* The person will work closely with the product owner * Evolve the migration methodology and create a migration roadmap * Manage the application migrations, very app dependencies, 3rd party interfaces and data flow * Responsible for resolving issues, risk analysis, escalation, execution, conduct preparatory tabletop exercises before each event * Identify and ensure handover touch points with Build and Run * Ensure test and contingency plans are done * Perform post-migration reviews

* Experience with application migration/large system integrations * 5+ years of project management experience * Bachelor’s degree * Expert planning and facilitation skills * Experience with large scope projects (Ideally minimum $5M cost and 1 year duration) * Advanced Excel knowledge * Experience reporting, tracking and analyzing financials * Strong communications skills * Change management experience * Hotel or travel industry experience * Consultant experience * Financial accounting experience * PMP Certification * Clarity, Rally or Microsoft Project experience
