Business Systems Analyst - BI Analyst

Xtreme Consulting Group is currently recruiting for a Business Systems Analyst (BI Analyst). This contract opportunity is with a global auto-manufacturing company in beautiful Portland, OR. Our client supports a work/life balance, free parking for cars and bicycles, and on-site restaurant options. Having partnered with this client for 20 years, a high percentage of Xtreme consultants are approved for extensions. Additionally, we have an on-site Xtreme support team that is always available to directly assist both the consultants and the client. • Provide support for reporting application enhancements including analysis and solution design
• Provide thorough documentation on everything from meeting minutes to detailed requirements
• Assist in maintaining documentation in the BI SharePoint site
• Communicate ETL requirements and reporting requirements to development resources
• Provide Test Plans to development resources and coordinate User Acceptance Testing
• Be responsible for developed solutions meeting requirements specified by the business

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
• Proven project analysis / requirements gathering experience
• Ability to quickly learn diverse business processes
• Able to articulate acquired knowledge in customer interviews
• Ability to collecting and document business requirements
• Proficiency with SQL
• Experience designing and implementing management/operating reports for manufacturing firms.
• This includes ETL (Informatica), data models (Erwin), business rules and reporting (Cognos)
• Flexibility in working independently as an assertive self-starter to working cross-functionally as a team player
• Detail-oriented, organized and multi-tasker
• Demonstrated design skills for data warehouse applications (conceptual, logical and physical)
