Production Supervisor

The Judge Group is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for a large food manufacturing company in Southern California. The qualified individual will provide leadership to staff for maintaining packaging, process and plant cleanliness to ensure a safe and sanitary food manufacturing facility.

* Manages hourly production associates leading by example in a manner that is proactive for the company * Delivers monthly safety training to all personnel within the department * Visually inspects and approves quality and quantity of workmanship in accordance with established standards and takes corrective action where necessary * Maximize line efficiency * Provides production reports as requested to Executive Team Members * Works to ensure compliance to production schedule and all tasks at hand * Takes all appropriate actions to insure the next shift will be able to start and operate as smoothly as possible * Works closely with maintenance to ensure that production equipment runs safely and efficiently at all times * Constantly works to improve factory processes and brings associate suggestions up to the Executive levels * Maintains documentation, communication and feedback with employees to ensure they are aware of their expectations * Maintains a program of inspecting cleaning equipment, inventory and ordering cleaning chemicals and replacement parts through scheduled food safety preventative maintenance * Documents and conducts monthly meetings pertaining to good housekeeping, safety and good company policy

* Bachelor’s degree highly preferred * 2+ plus years’ experience in food manufacturing * Mechanically inclined * Positively motivate people and discipline when necessary * Experience with TPC (Total Process Control)
