• Build industry-changing integration solutions for the third party logistics industry in a fast growing company
• Ensure solutions are built to scale as we grow and are sound
• Lead small projects and mentor other engineers
• Build and support EDI integrations
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues timely
• Work with functional users, technical staff & extended support organizations for resolution of integration issues
• Work with system owners on special projects as assigned
• Work with QA to prepare test plans and evaluate test results for solutions built

• A degree in Computer Information Systems or closely related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience writing integration solutions
• Proficiency developing EDI integrations; preferably with Sterling Integrator
• Proficiency with SQL, JAVA and one or more programming or scripting languages
• Experience creating and updating XML files
• Hands-on expertise in diagnosing problems & recommending appropriate solutions, reading and interpreting technical manuals & documentation and diagnosing end user & programming problems and providing resolutions
• Able to set up and maintain FTP connections
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast paced environment with a high sense of urgency
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to prioritize

Bonus points

• Have worked in a startup environment Experience developing solutions for Transportation Management Systems
• Experience with SSIS
• Technical knowledge of Oracle databases
• Demonstrated experience with large scale system integration projects
