Summary
Designs Complex Orders using XO tools, resources, and professional knowledge of Circuit Design.
Responsibilities
* Meets and/or exceed targets for daily task productivity, cost and quality on assigned basic and complex Circuit Design orders. Manages personal work queue on a daily basis to monitor progress of orders and take appropriate action. * Reviews orders for accuracy and completeness. Validates end-user locations and service capabilities using XO internal and external databases. Determines Type-II path(s) via Least Cost Provisioning tool or provided ICB and assigns provisioning plan. * Works more complex Voice, Transport, Ethernet, IP and Cloud-based orders from DSO to OCx level. May also be asked to work more basic orders as workload dictates. * Updates order with assignment information for Circuit Layout Record (CLR) and Access Service Request (ASR) and internal provisioning systems as required and opens Internal Service Requests (ISRs) as necessary. * Completes all design tasks when internal process milestones have been met. * Works with internal customers (Account Team, Sales Engineers, Sales Support Manager, Internal support teams, Field Operations, etc.) to resolve order Jeopardies/issues and move orders forward to meet Customer Requested Due Date and Standard Intervals as needed. * Works alongside and may provide support and direction to team members on products and processes and may provide input to Team Lead/Manager on potential development opportunities.
Ideal Candidate
* Degree preferred, not required. * 4+ years of Telecommunications experience required. 3+ years Circuit Design experience required. Metasolv/TBS experience preferred. * Basic Computer Skills Required * Excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and oral) * Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. * Proven problem-solving skills * Expertise in Circuit Design required
