Responsibilities
**Essential Responsibilities** - Directly supervise operations training supervisors and instructors. This includes managing their performance, providing candid feedback and assisting in their personal development. - Assist in budgeting, staffing, planning, monitoring and reporting necessary to cost effectively meet station and fleet operator training needs. - Provide supervision to assure that training is systematically conducted to continously improve operator performance, manage risk, implement excellence plans, comply with operator training regulatory requirements and meet station operator staffing needs. - Supervises the conduct of quality operator training. This requires observing, enforcing and correcting training practices, procedures and policies. - Participates in fleet, industry and regulatroy operator training initiatives, workshops, benchmarking, assessments and assistance as assigned. - Perform ERO duties based on site-specific assignment.
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications** Required - A high school diploma - Ability to obtain SRO license or SRO certification - Must have a minimum of 3 years of related nuclear power plant experience - Extensive knowledge of the Systematic Approach to Training as applied to initial and continuing fleet accredited training programs including 10 CFR 50 and 10 CFR 55 and associated regulatory guides, NUREGs and ACADs Preferred - Bachelor's degree
