Summary
Our Healthcare client is looking for a Proposal Project Manager to join their team. In this role, The Proposal Project Manager has primary responsibility for leading the proposal process, beginning with initial intake activities and on through to successful proposal submission.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for providing project management planning, execution and reporting to the proposal project team and to Proposal Department leadership. The Proposal Project Manager will have experience with commercial, government and managed care organization RFPs. * Establish and manage proposal timeline. Identify potential schedule slippages and develop recovery plan. * Creates and executes proposal work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. * Manage the project plan by ensuring obstacles are identified and mitigated and that deliverables are met on time. * Liaison with SMES to ensure writers have what is needed to provide a quality product. * Report project status and apprise management of issues requiring resolution in order to maintain progress on a timely basis. * Conduct proposal project/status meetings as needed. * Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a proposal project and scope, including meeting facilitation and documentation. * Prepares for proposal quality reviews and quality assurance procedures.
Ideal Candidate
* BA/BS Degree Business Administration or similar * Experience Required - 5+ years project management or proposal management job related experience in a managed care organization. * Experience Preferred - Experience working on government (Federal, State, County) RFPs and have experience developing and updating compliance matrices. * Proficiency in project management software * Knowledge of project management practices and methodologies. * Basic knowledge of health care management and/or pharmaceuticals * Proven ability to plan, organize, schedule, direct, control, and monitor project activities.
