Wrap is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our San Francisco office. We released our first version of product in September and are growing our QA team to meet customer support, product feature release and maintenance needs.
- Test the user-experience of the Wrap platform on mobile and desktop.
- Collaborate in a team environment, focusing on and contributing to the delivery of a quality product. Apply QA best practices and contribute to the overall QA process.
- Test in an Agile environment with frequent releases (typically 1-2 week cycles with parallel path QA focus and validation for "hot fixes" as needed).
- Sustain and improve our regression cycle efforts.
- Effectively communicate issues discovered during testing cycles. Identify areas for testing that can be impacted by new features.
- Collaborate and share information across multi-functional teams (on-site and remote).
- Adjust focus to align with change as needed.
- Minimum 7 years experience working as a Senior/Lead QA Engineer
- Experience working in an Agile environment delivering product/features
- Experience using defect tracking and Agile management tools to manage the SDLC process, such as Jira Agile (formerly known as Greenhopper)
- Familiarity with test automation
- Capable to deliver test cases based on ad-hoc or defined requirements and test cases
- Extensive knowledge of the QA Lifecycle (test case management, defect tracking, etc) Ability to work on-site in San Francisco Desired familiarity with:
- Behavior Driven Development Frameworks like cucumber
- Object Oriented Programming languages like Java or Ruby
- Mobile Application testing experience
- Working with Continuous Integration/Delivery environment
- Understanding of source control tools like git
