Maintenance Technician

Worthington Cylinders Westerville is seeking a qualified maintenance technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills. The candidate must have a 2-year Associates Degree or equivalent experience. Must be able to work all three shifts.

• Capable and willing to work any schedule, day or night
• Must be able to work in a team-based environment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Must be able to work independently; will be responsible for specific or cross-functional tasks, based on equipment
• Will be assigned to and required to maintain a PM area
• Must be willing to participate in continuous improvement projects throughout the facility
• Participate actively in department/plan safety programs
• Promote safety rules and regulations

• Capable of reading and writing relay/ladder logic
• Advanced knowledge of AC/DC motor drives, PLC & SLC controllers and motor control circuits.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, plumbing and code books
• Capable of reading and writing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints
• Possess good problem solving skills, computer skills, and safety practices
