Maintenance Technician

Worthington Cylinders Westerville is seeking a qualified maintenance technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills. The candidate must have a 2-year Associates Degree or equivalent experience. Must be able to work all three shifts.

* Capable and willing to work any schedule, day or night * Must be able to work in a team-based environment * Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment * Must be able to work independently; will be responsible for specific or cross-functional tasks, based on equipment * Will be assigned to and required to maintain a PM area * Must be willing to participate in continuous improvement projects throughout the facility * Participate actively in department/plan safety programs * Promote safety rules and regulations

* Capable of reading and writing relay/ladder logic * Advanced knowledge of AC/DC motor drives, PLC & SLC controllers and motor control circuits. * Advanced knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, plumbing and code books * Capable of reading and writing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints * Possess good problem solving skills, computer skills, and safety practices * All applicants must pass a drug screen
