Maintenance Technician

Worthington Cylinders Columbus is seeking a qualified maintenance technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills. The candidate must have a 2-year Associates Degree or equivalent experience.

* Capable of working day or night schedule. * Must be able to work in a team-based environment. * Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. * Must be able to work independently; will be responsible for specific or cross-functional tasks, based on equipment. * All applicants must pass a drug screen. * Will be assigned to and required to maintain a PM area. * Must be willing to participate in continuous improvement projects throughout the facility. * Participate actively in department/plan safety programs. * Promote safety rules and regulations.

* Capable of reading and writing relay/ladder logic. * Have advanced knowledge of AC/DC motor drives, PLC/electrical & SLC controllers and motor control circuits. * Advanced knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, plumbing and code books. * Capable of reading and writing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints. * Possess good problem solving skills, computer skills, and safety practices.
