World Communications Charter School in Center City Philadelphia, is seeking a Secondary English Teacher (7-12). The successful candidate will hold certification, demonstrate ability to develop lesson plans, collaborate with grade team members to discuss student work and share best practices, use student data to inform instruction, display outstanding instructional skills inclusive of maintaining an orderly classroom environment, participate in ongoing professional development, show a positive "can-do" attitude, and have a strong sense of personal accountability for student achievement.

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Must have or be working towards teacher certification
• Demonstrated expertise in subject area
• Classroom teaching experience in an urban school setting
