Summary
WCCG is seeking to hire a Director of Operations to be based in its New York office. The Director of Operations will assume a strategic role in the management of the internal operations of the company, while ensuring the company’s everyday operational activities run smoothly. The Director of Operations works closely with the Chief Operating Officer to lead and facilitate the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of the company via strong operations, including oversight of human resources, marketing, information technology and information systems, and the administrative function, and will also be the first point of contact for other department leaders’ operational initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the executive management of an established national real estate owner/operator.
Responsibilities
* Assists and supports the Chief Operating Officer through the project management of strategic operational initiatives across departments * Works with executive team and department leads to draft and execute firm policies and standards of operation (SOPs) * Oversees the human resources, marketing, information technology, information systems and administrative functions * Oversees facilities management, lease administration and office budget for the firm’s Austin and NYC offices * Leads projects and coordinates involvement of staff from other departments to facilitate successful project implementations * Advise the Executive Team on key planning issues and make strategic recommendations on operational decisions and resource allocations * Ensure that all WCCG sites meet brand standards for appearance, efficiency, utility and professionalism * Provide oversight of office presentation, technology efficiency, maintenance and repair services. Provide support for essential corporate services such as reception, security, mail, archiving, cleaning, waste disposal and recycling * Assist in sourcing and planning of allocation and utilization of space for new office locations, or reorganization of existing premises given current and future staffing needs * Establish and maintain a safety-first culture by promoting and driving safe work practices, timely training and best practices to promote safe behavior. Drive and promote safety culture with subcontractors, suppliers and visitors * Coordinate the site Disaster Recovery Plan. Respond to emergency facility issues and be able to rapidly implement and execute a plan of action to address them
