Summary
Work Market is looking for a talented Product Manager to own and define feature across the Work Market product offering. In collaboration with engineering and marketing, PMs drive the development of web, mobile, and tablet feature-sets. You will be the product owner of an agile team and become the local expert for the feature area. Help disrupt the world of work and make the promise of on-demand labor marketplaces a reality.
Responsibilities
* Prioritizing and designing incoming customer requests - from origination through release * Supporting the broader product management organization by writing specifications, prioritizing platform features, and coordinating product schedules with a team of engineers * Facilitating communication throughout the development process between a variety of internal teams including operations, marketing, service, and QA * Integrating usability studies, user research, and market analysis into product requirements to ensure features satisfy customer needs * Coordinating with other product managers and designers to ensure a cohesiveness user experience across the Work Market platform
Ideal Candidate
* At least 2 years of experience in a product management role (or related experience) * In-depth experience in at least one of the following areas: * Designing enterprise software and infrastructure / tools (including API design) * UI / UX with a strong emphasis on web based or mobile applications * Working with labor platforms or relevant experience with the labor industry * Demonstrated experience gathering requirements, creating specifications, and organizing resources * Comfortable working with cross functional groups, including engineering, marketing, sales, and service * Exceptional written and oral communication skills * Excellent project management and analytical skills * Strong technical abilities with the ability to work closely with engineers on requirements and design (previous development experience a plus) * Ability to define appropriate metrics and use that data to improve the user experience * Familiarity with Agile development practices a plus * Bachelors degree in an engineering or business related field preferred
