Senior Front End Engineer

Work Market’s labor automation software empowers companies to create, manage & scale their flexible workforce to dramatically improve productivity. We help companies “Uberize” their business. We have incredible momentum which has triggered our need to rapidly scale our Sales organization.

Work Market is building large, bleeding edge, applications moving from a Monolithic App to Microservices on our Java backend and modern JavaScript libraries including backbone/angular on the front. We’re an Agile, Test-driven development, shop and we need talented engineers who are driven by solving business problems and taking on challenges.

What You Will Do: * Architect our front-end application using advanced HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Frameworks * Develop features/applications, including collaboration on defining requirements, prototyping, design, coding, testing and deployment * Implement robust, highly usable and responsive UI components, with efficient code * Contribute to design, code, specification and architectural reviews and technical documentation

Qualifications: * 5+ years experience as a Front End Engineer * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Equivalent * Exceptional at object-oriented JavaScript * Experience with multiple frameworks, libraries, and modules such as Backbone, Underscore, jQuery, * RequireJS, Grunt, Sass, and Jasmine * Fun to work with (yes, we build for the enterprise...but nobody said we can't have fun) * Passionate about the emergence of the freelance economy * Ability to thrive in a fast paced startup environment others
