We help companies “Uberize” their business. We have incredible momentum which has triggered our need to rapidly scale our Sales organization.
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer that can build the tools and workflows that allow our customers to be more efficient and productive in a competitive marketplace.
- In this role, you’ll work with the Director of Analytics and collaborate across all corporate functions to build dashboards, reporting tools, ad-hoc queries, and detailed analysis so that everyone has the data they need at the time they need it. This includes working with our reporting tools (Databases, Data Query Tools, and Web-based data management tools) to match our fast-paced business needs. Further, you will help shape how our teams and user base consumes data on a real-time basis.
- Building reports and dashboards to support our internal teams using our internal tools
- Contextualizing data for a variety of audiences, internally and externally
- Data cleaning, preparation, and transformation
- Exploring our data to uncover meaningful insights in changes to help drive company growth
- Other data projects as needs arise
Qualifications and Traits
- 1-2+ year business experience in a technical, statistical, or data-centric role. Freshly-minted graduates who are comfortable with SQL and/or Python will also be considered. You probably have a degree in Economics, Statistics, Math or some amalgam.
- SQL (MySQL, Postgres, and AWS Redshift)
- Demonstrated interest and ability in working with data and extracting valuable insights.
- Proven analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting ability
- Aptitude and desire to grow technical skillset
- Excellent communication skills
- Healthy dose of skepticism
- Conviction in their work product and methods
Bonus points for
- Experience with BI/Analytics tools (Looker, Excel, et al)
- Experience with version control (git, github)
- Basic Python
- Knowledge of SaaS-based businesses
