We're looking for an experienced Java guru who’s passionate about command line & open source software.

• Work with the CTO on backend challenges
• Enhance Restful APIs
• Take charge of outages, lead calls until they are resolved, and make sure the root cause has been found and fixed
• Perform data analysis to detect trends in usage, errors, etc. and triage production issues appropriately
• Setup automated deployment with versioning
• Manage AWS services
• Assist in integrations with 3rd-party providers

• Experience in advanced data structures and algorithms
• Experience in No-SQL (Key-Value and Transactional Databases)
• Experience in distributed systems
• Deep knowledge of internet protocols layers and standards (TCP/UDP, HTTP)
• Experience in Java
• Fluent in Linux systems (Red Hat flavors is a plus)
• Experience in Machine Learning and Predictive Data
