Systems Analyst

The Systems Analyst is a motivated self-starter with practical systems analysis experience in implementing computer system requirements by defining and analyzing system problems; designing and testing standards and solutions. The Systems Analyst is responsible for providing end user consultation, developing requirements, specifications, and system tests in collaboration with developers, project managers, and business users. This position is responsible for all analytical aspects of the development life cycle including requirements, design, testing, and implementation. Successful candidates will have a track record of producing deliverables with precision and quality in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

* Provide end user consultation for all web applications, line-of-business applications, ecommerce platforms, and associated databases for internal customers using a mixed set of technologies * Coordinate Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) data flows with partners, suppliers, and carriers * Develops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions. * Gather, interpret, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements * Develop functional and technical specifications to drive development efforts; write use cases to support specifications * Controls solution by establishing specifications; coordinating production with programmers. * Assist in assigning requests to the appropriate developers and track to closure * Participates in writing test strategies, plans and test cases to test development work * Occasionally validates results by testing programs. * Provides reference by writing documentation. * Participates in customization, integration, and support of vendor-supplied software * Other duties as assigned. * Internal: Interacts with all other corporate departments and field management. Exchanges information with all levels of the organization. Positive interaction with all internal customers is essential. * External: Interacts with third party retail partners and others as needed.

* 3+ years of system analysis and system support supporting applications and customer-facing ecommerce websites. * Retail and Wireless experience * Strong skills in MS Office applications, e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access. * Experience in documenting requirements, specifications, and test documentation * Experience testing software * Experienced in gathering and analyzing user requirements * Ability to understand and discuss business issues as well as technical issues * Strong written and verbal English communication skills * Self-motivated, persistent, results-oriented, enthusiastic, flexible * Ability to work with minimal supervision, independently or as a member of a team * Confidence in situations with high ambiguity and uncertainty * Have a willingness to learn * BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience **Pluses:** * Working knowledge of the following technologies: GERS, PivotLink, CRM, SharePoint, MS Access, MySQL, and WordPress **PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT :** * Required to sit and talk or hear and to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. * This position is sedentary with bending, twisting, stooping and lifting (of no more than 10 pounds) seldom occurring. * Work is performed in a normal office environment.
