Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

The Senior SDET will be a key contributor to helping us build an automation framework to support the testing of our eCommerce sites, middle tier services, and back office integrations. You will be able to research and introduce new technologies, tools, and ideas that will set us on the course to continuous deployments. Should we us MSTest, Xunit, or Nunit? What about selenium, cucumber, MOQ, or Rhino Mocks? These are the questions you will get to ask and help us choose. Not only will you be helping lay the ground work for the future of automation at Wireless Advocates but you will be working closely with other QA and software engineers to help assure the quality of our latest initiatives. These initiatives will have you working closely with a number of our partners including AT&T, Verizon, and Costco.

* Code – Implement clean, reusable, and maintainable automation tools, test frameworks, and tests * Test – Implement automated tests, contribute to test design, test planning, and test execution * Innovate – Identify tools and processes that can help us be more efficient in how and what we test * Lead – Provide technical direction, training, and information to the team so that the organization continues to improve * Debug – Investigate test failures and dive into the code so that our developers and partners have all of the information to reproduce and fix issues uncovered during testing * Collaborate – Work with our development teams, partners, business sponsors, and other QA members to push the quality bar higher than it has ever been before

* 6+ yrs of work experience in QA * 2+ years’ experience Senior/Lead * On the job experience must include automated test framework creation and maintenance * Strong knowledge of C#, .NET framework, SQL, Selenium, and messaging technologies. * Strong experience in black box, white box, and glass box testing * Previous experience testing e-commerce sites and API integrations. * Ability to be successful in a small high growth company that is fast-paced and change-oriented **Physical Demands And Work Environment:** * Required to sit and talk or hear and to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. * This position is sedentary with bending, twisting, stooping and lifting (of no more than 10 pounds) seldom occurring. * Work is performed in a normal office environment.
