Senior Financial Analyst

A prominent property management company is looking to fill the position of a Financial Analyst. The right candidate will be responsible for reviewing all accounting functions for the New York City region. The Financial Analyst will frequently undertake special projects assigned by the Senior Vice President.

* Review journal entry batches prepared by the corporate Accounting Department * Review financial reports on a monthly basis * Review property budgets to ensure spending is within the budgetary guidelines * Preparation of custom Excel reports, as requested * General accounting or department questions or specific training related to the FA’s responsibilities or areas of expertise * Journal entries * Create, modify, review, and update financial projections and discounted cash flow models

* Yardi experience a plus * BA/BS in Finance/Accounting preferred * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Experience reading financial reports (income statements, rent rolls, balance sheets etc)
