Summary
The primary purpose of the Manager is to ensure Measurement strategies, processes, and practices are effective, reliable, and drive a high value return for the organization.
Responsibilities
* Drive the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the One Williams Measurement process, working across all operating areas as well as your own * Analyze, brainstorm, and combine theory with practical data solver models to obtain information, allowing the measurement team to focus the majority of their time on key exception areas. * Provide measurement process support for the OA/FAs including monitoring, receiving, processing, validating and reporting all gas or liquids quality measurement data. * Develop, implement and continuously improve the stakeholder-relevant metrics to monitor the effectiveness of the measurement process and standards and share such metrics with the stakeholders (OA/FA) * Develop, maintain and execute an intensive onboarding process, combining both academic training, shadowing and hands-on sessions * Fulfilling monthly measurement accounting close and reporting & processing Prior Period Adjustments (PPAs). * Provide a clear understanding of the key drivers that impact overall production as well as interfaces with other process areas or customer requirements. * Establish and maintain positive, productive, proactive relationships with direct reports, peers, internal/external customers & audiences. * Participate in regulatory and industry standard organizations to identify best practices and provide input to potential industry standards or regulations.
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum Qualifications** * Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Technical discipline, or related field. * Ability to demonstrate a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in leadership, measurement, or related field. * Proven ability to lead and inspire teams by direct and indirect control to progressively higher levels of value-added returns (i.e., through RWRR applications & methods.) * Knowledge regarding Williams' business strategies, financial objectives and commercial goals to allow effective interaction with OA for the commercial, technical and operations functions. * Proven understanding of technical issues, operational practices, and measurement systems & tools common to the oil & gas industry. * Proven applicable Measurement experience (e.g., served in a measurement, commercial, operations or contracts role.) * Clear understanding of the key drivers that will impact overall production as well as interfaces with other process areas or customer requirements. * Proven ability to establish and maintain positive, productive, proactive relationships with direct reports, peers, internal/external customers & audiences. * Proven ability to resolve conflict through RWRR applications & methods. * Proven ability to continuously improve processes and manage change **Preferred Qualifications** * Proven understanding of Operations (i.e., worked in operations position, or in positions which supported operations and required a high degree of interaction and collaboration.) * Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt * Proven experience in measurement process and/or quality management.
