Summary
The Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst will work with a team of talented analysts in Human Resources Information Management (HRIM) to design, implement and maintain reporting and analytical tools. The individual will seek to understand root causes of issues as well as identify and build sustainable methods for delivering data analysis. The individual will respond to incoming client requests while building strategic relationships which will enhance the team's ability to work proactively and effectively throughout the organization. The Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst is an individual contributor but will work in a leadership capacity to influence technology learning and investment.
Responsibilities
* Enhance business decision making capabilities through data analysis and reporting * Implement sustainable and scalable methods of data gathering, aggregation, analysis, and delivery * Lead cross-team collaboration between HRIM, information technology, and business stakeholders * Serves as a subject matter expert and provides deep technical leadership on SQL, reporting, and analytical tools * Present data to Senior Management in a graphical and easy to understand manner
Ideal Candidate
Skills & Experience: * Bachelors degree required * Minimum 5 years working experience with business information/analytical tools * Strong SQL skills * Experience working with databases: manipulating, summarizing, and analyzing data * The ability to create data driven business strategies * Strong analytical and project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into technical solutions * Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must * Passionate about analysis, statistics and data mining
