PHP Web Developer

The PHP Web Developer is responsible for working closely with the Development Team Lead, our Product Management team and other developers to define, design, build and maintain consumer-facing web based business applications and our intranet application.

1. Rapidly build, test, and deploy web applications and work closely with other developers. 2. Identify, investigate and raise architectural considerations as part of the design process to our systems and data architects, including database design, site performance, and web usability. 3. Research and evaluate implementation options for new application features. 4. Utilize knowledge, skills, and abilities with technology and programming languages to provide input to business process design, systems development, and project planning.

* BS Computer Science or equivalent. Must be able to produce college transcripts showing minimum 3.0 GPA if applicable * 2+ years of Web based PHP programming experience and SQL * 2+ years CSS, Javascript (including DOM, object-oriented Javascript, JSON) * Experience operating in an MVC framework * Symfony, jQuery, Linux/Unix, usability, Shell scripting/Perl, Node.js, PHPUnit, Direct Marketing Industry experience a plus * Strong object-oriented design and problem solving skills * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Team oriented approach with a positive attitude
