WHIO-TV signed on February 23, 1949, on channel 13. It was the first television station in Dayton to begin broadcasting, although WLWD (channel 2, now WDTN) was the first to have its license granted.

• Proficiency in Adobe Create Suite, ie. Photoshop, After Effects
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to execute projects from start to finish
• Superior topical, series, image and PSA production skills
• Ability to extrapolate research into effective marketing campaigns
• Multi-platform experience promoting on-air, digital, social, mobile
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organized, able to delegate and manage broad variety of work projects
• Ensure the presentation of all brands are consistent

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism or Communication or equivalent years of experience required.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in TV promotion
• Applicants must have an outstanding demo reel showcasing writing, producing and creative ability.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to load and unload equipment as required

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of previous management experience
• 3D animation skills
