Senior Accountant - Revenue

The Senior Revenue Accountant will work closely with the Billing team to ensure that revenue is accounted for properly. We are looking for a self-starter who has excellent problem solving skills and enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

* Research and advise on all revenue recognition policies for current and developing channels of business * Ensure revenue transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with US GAAP * Review customer arrangements to conclude the appropriate revenue recognition treatment and to identify any issues * Maintain, monitor, and reconcile deferred revenue and receivables accounts * Play a major role in month end close, including the review of journal entries and reconciliations prepared by staff accountants to ensure accuracy * Work with the SOX team to develop and maintain control procedures and documentation * Support the year-end financial statement audit * Train and mentor junior staff * Prepare various monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports for management review as needed

* Detail oriented & self-sufficient * 2 to 4 years progressive work experience * CPA with public accounting background preferred * Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint * Has a comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and retail accounting
