Material Planner

Material Planner is responsible for ordering and managing supply inventory (direct and indirect) for production needs at all WLF plants. Will have direct contact with approved suppliers to place orders, give directions to suppliers on forecast requirements and communication of quality issues. Will work directly with plant schedulers and plant production to keep on top of schedule changes, purchase order receipts and supply inventory levels. Review inventory obsolete supplies and prepare supporting documents to dispose of supplies. Material Planner will work directly with AP to sort out invoice problems.

* Coordinate supply inventory at all plants. * Place orders for inventory replenishment. * Resolve quality issues with vendors and plant for return. * Monitor obsolete supplies. * Resolve invoice discrepancy, and receiving discrepancy. * Other duties as assigned.

**Preferred knowledge and Skills:** * Ability to read, write and speak English. * Ability to perform basic math. * Basic computer skills including MS Office and proficient skills in MS Excel. * Must be able to work extended hours and weekends if needed. * Must welcome change and have a continuous improvement state of mind. * Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with other team members. **Education and Experience Requirements:** * High School diploma is preferred. * One to two years of related experience is preferred.
